Aston Martin Special Edition Carbon Black

Celebrating the enormous success of the DBS and V12 Vantage which have surpassed all sales expectations since launch, the new special editions add a typically understated flair to these acclaimed models. Featuring bespoke Carbon Black metallic paint especially formulated with a subtle metallic twist to create a deep rich patina. Each car will undergo 50 man-hours of hand painting followed by stringent quality checks. For the V12 Vantage the iconic Aston Martin side strake has been fashioned from real carbon fibre backed by a black mesh and complimented with gloss black 10 spoke diamond turned alloy wheels. A bright finished grille and front parking sensors (normally an option) complete the exterior detailing.

Modular Concept Corvette

Modular Concept has been putting out some really nice wheels lately.  This tuned Corvette caught my eye, rolling on some sweet Modular Concept wheels finished in a matte black face and carbon lips.  More pics of the sweet setup after the break.

Spotted BMW 1 Series Supersport

A BMW 1 Series test car was spotted in Garching Germany where the M Division is located.  Looks like BMW is testing a new stronger 1 series, rumored to be the 1 Series Supersport which is similair to the BMW M3 CSL.

The CSL like car most likely not badged CSL (possibly Csi or tii).  The performance and lightweight components on this car will not be options on "regular" models and will not be based on BMW Performance accessories.  Testing currently is a CF roof, hood, and trunk- Special lightweight (BBS) wheels, new highly bolstered seats and Light Weight glass. Engine is still TBA and in testing.

Yes you read that right kids, $20k for a pair of seats, can we way baller!  Your looking at the special edition seats from Recaro called the ASM x Recaro SP-X CL100.  It's one of those gotta have limited edition JDM seats that you just can't pass up on.  The seats are made of dry carbon and finished in a combination of leather and Alcantara.  Now can you really justify paying close to $20k for a pair of seat?  I mean you can buy a brand new car for that price..  For more pics, check after the break.  Click on source link for those interested in a pair.

Random Pic: Carbon PPI Razor R8

I was browsing the web last night and came across this Audi R8 by PPI Called the Razor GTR.  It's one of those cars that just makes you go wow and take notice.   PPI did an amazing job on the car, they have completely changed the car with a full carbon fiber body.  In it's process shaving about 550lbs from the stock configuration.  This is how the R8 should have looked from the factory!

I am not a huge fan of the current 5 series BMW but this one just caught my attention.  Forgiato Wheels just posted up these sweet pics featuring a BMW M5 sporting a set of their 20" Maglia wheels with a custom carbon fiber lip finish.  More pics of this sweet ride after the break.

Full Carbon Fiber Wheels

Weds Sport out of Japan has released a first - full carbon fiber wheel.  The wheels were unveiled at the Tokyo Auto Salon show, and can be had for a cool $10,000-$12,000.  Yes I know it's a bit expensive but it does weigh only 6.08 lbs.  Now that's light!

Vorsteiner E92 M3 Carbon parts sneak peek

Vorsteiner has released these sneak peek pics of their new carbon parts coming for the E92 BMW M3.  Their new carbon lineup features a new full carbon front bumper with lower lip and vents to keep the radiator cool.  The hood features functional functional vents all this with the great quality you would expect from Vorsteiner.  Who's first to get one of these?

Motor Lux Porsche Cayman Roof Wing

Earlier this week I installed my Carbon Vents from Motor Lux, which already added a nice touch to the project Cayman.  I had the time to install their Carbon fiber roof wing also, and have to say, I am very happy with the outcome, really ads a nice subtle touch to the rear of the car.  I am still awaiting on their release of their carbon side skirts, and I think that should complete all the Carbon on the car, well atleast the exterior :)  More pics after the break.

Motor Lux Carbon Side Vents

Received my new Carbon Fiber side vents from Motor Lux today for the Speedmotiv Cayman Project.  I opted for the 4x4 twill matte finish again to match all the other carbon parts on the car.  Motor Lux does offer in other finish as well.   Overall I am extremely happy with the fit and finish, install was pretty quick and painless.  Let me know what you guys think!  more pics after the break.

We recently posted Mansory's new Porsche 997.2 tuning package - the car featured a host of exterior and interior modifications.  These pics surfaced showing the car outside in full daylight for all to see.  Definitely looks great with all the carbon details inside and out.  I do love the side mirrors especially!  More pics after the break.
